Requena-Utiel
    The Narrow gorge of the Cabriel river separates this area from the high Castilian plateau. Though it is enclosed by the Cabriel river and the Chiva, Negrete and Cabrillas mountains, it is actually an extension of the plateau and it is home to the most extensive and homogenous viniculture industry in Spain. On the border between the province of Valencia and and the provinces of Cuenca and Albacete there are sites of great beauty close to the Cabriel river, such as Las Hoces and Los Cuchillos)

    Interesting Spots:

      Sinarcas, with several recreation centers, such as Charco Negro, Palomarejas, and Cerro Carpios.

      Utiel: Iglesia de la Asunción (16th century church). Large wine cooperative. Destination of the "Gourmet Train" created by Valencia's Provincial Council.

      Requena: Underground wine cellars in Barrio de la Villa in the old district of the city. !0th century castle. Iglesia del Salvador adn Iglesia de Santa María (15th century churches). Wine museum. National Museum to the grape harvest. Pico del Tejo mountain. The GR-7 international footpath runs past the village of Rebollar. Destination of the "Wine Train" organized as tourist attraction by Valencia's Provincial Council.

      Venta del Moro: Beauty spots along the Cabriel river.

      Villagordo del Cabriel: Beauty spot at Los Cuchillos (climbing area) and contreras reservoir.
