La Serranía
    These servere and harsh lands possess a wild beauty marked by an intriguing network of riverbeds, rivers and ravines at the foot of rocky peaks soaring to heights of a thousand meters, amidst vineyards producing fine wines such as the Alto Turia varieties. The Turia river and the Benagéber reservoir form one of the main axes of this region renowned for its woodlands and recreation areas

    It is important to notice that this area is ideal for hikers. The GR-7 and GR-10 intertational footpaths run across this region.

    Interesting Spots:

      Aras de Alpuente: Ermita de Santa Catalina (18th century), Observatory. Natural beauty spots such as Los Mangranos and La Fuente de la Araña.

      Alpuente: A historic and artisitic setting with a ruined castle, walls, towers, ancient Moorish quarters, 16th century parish church and gothic aqueduct, and much more.

      Titaguas:Virgen del Remedio shrine. Beauty sopts such as Los Conquetes and La Tosquilla. Cave paintings in the Tio Escribano cave.

      Chulilla: La Muela climbing school. Castle. Charco Azul lake. Fuentecaliente hot spring resort
